LaBrulante

Founder, Psychological Freedom Foundation

"You cannot create authentic connection by abandoning yourself."

An Educator Who Goes Where Most Won't.

LaBrulante is the founder of the Psychological Freedom Foundation and the creator of its educational framework — a structured approach to understanding the patterns that shape how people think, relate, and live.

Her work is built on a single conviction: that most of the suffering people experience in relationships — with others and with themselves — is rooted in patterns that were learned, not chosen. Patterns of control. Patterns of people-pleasing. Patterns of fear, disconnection, and the slow erosion of self that happens when someone has been taught, directly or indirectly, that their needs, limits, and voice don't matter.

LaBrulante teaches people to see those patterns clearly — and to understand that seeing them is the beginning of being free from them.

Self-Authority Is Not Selfish. It Is the Foundation.

LaBrulante's work is centered on a set of ideas that are simple to state and genuinely difficult to live: that every person has the right to self-authority — the right to make their own choices, hold their own values, and live by their own judgment. That personal agency is not a privilege. That boundaries are not aggression. That human dignity is not negotiable.

She is particularly focused on the dynamics that erode those things — the subtle and not-so-subtle ways that control, manipulation, and emotional coercion operate in relationships, families, workplaces, and communities. Not because she believes people are fundamentally broken, but because she believes they are fundamentally capable — and that most people have never been given the language or the framework to understand what has been happening to them.

Her philosophy is unconventional in one important way: she does not separate the personal from the relational. You cannot build healthy relationships without first understanding your relationship with yourself. You cannot communicate authentically if you have learned to suppress your own truth. You cannot connect genuinely if connection has always required you to disappear.

To Stop Emotional Violence.

LaBrulante founded the Psychological Freedom Foundation with a clear mission: to stop emotional violence — the patterns of manipulation, coercion, and control that damage people's sense of self, their relationships, and their capacity for genuine connection.

She does this through education. Through workshops, programs, speaking engagements, and the development of a framework that gives people the language and the tools to understand what has been happening — and to choose differently.

Her work is not clinical. It is not therapy. It is education in the deepest sense: the kind that changes how you see yourself, how you understand others, and what you believe is possible.
